Serbia’s Exit Festival 2010 is offering 1,000 ‘discounted first come first serve’ tickets at 2009 prices. The tickets are on sale now and cost £72 and will increase marginally to match the 2010 cost once the offer has finished.

The Schedule for the event is yet to be fully confirmed for 2010, but organizers say that it will take place in early July, as usual, in Petrovaradin Fortress, Novi Sad.

Anatoli Vassiliev at the Athens/Epidaurus Festival

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

Anatoly Vassilief leaded a cast of Greek actors in a production of the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Patras, presenting for the first time “Medea” by Euripides at the Epidaurus Ancient Theatre on the 15 & 16 August 2008, following his production of Heiner Müller’s “Medea Material”. The Russian master has tackled two issues with one shot here:
• Condemning male infidelity and the unequal treatment meted out to woman
• Delivering a poetic text without resorting to verbal and emotional stereotypes.
